  The setting is beautiful directly onto the beach but there isn't much in terms of land and space. The outdoor pool area is in need of modernisation and there are no spa or gym facilities.

  Perfect little beach bar in los barilles! Feet in the sand.. Gorgeous view of the sea of Cortez and the kite surfers ! Great happy hour.. 2 for one rum punch! Food was great.. People were great very friendly and helpful.. A great place to hang out for the afternoon!

  The rooms themselves were quite poor with noise insulation and very small. There are showers but no baths and a sliding area for the basin etc that is part of the bedroom. On the plus side the beds were fairly comfortable and linens decent.

  The food was average at best and the breakfast had no variation so very boring a few days in. The menu during the evening was poorly executed and food flavourless and not very healthy.

  The Reception staff were pretty pointless- They don't help with luggage, greet you and are pretty hopeless with arranging airport runs or making reservations etc.

  Really good vibes, mainly due to the music taste that builds an amazing atmosphere.

  I stayed at the Gekko Beach in the summer of 2017 as part of the Forementera Yoga programme. The yoga was amazing and faultless but the hotel was below par.
